Cleaning up our Wolf Den

September 28, 2018

We have many outdoor learning spaces around our school where students and community members will be working to maintain a safe and clean learning space. For example, McDill Elementary has a beautiful wooded area behind the school. There are existing walking trails that are in need of maintenance. The PE students and library students are collaborating! Together, we will help get the trails ready for hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing and new this year, our Story walk! We have more than just the woods though, we have a butterfly garden, school courtyard, front and side landscaping, community gardens, etc. that are all meaningful spots around our school for our students to learn.
