Westmark School students in Grade 4 will be involved in creating and maintaining a school garden for the use of the entire school of 230 students. They will be active in amending the soil, spring and fall cleanups, planting items, removing weeds as they grow, watering on a daily basis, pruning, staking and caging plants as they grow and harvesting crops. Vegetable crops will be used for healthy eating classes.
