Seed 2 Table

Our school has an environmentally dedicated group of students and educators who seek to educate the community, empower students and staff, and make stewardship of the environment a priority in our lives through intensive and deliberate hands-on projects and outreach activities.
A love and understanding on the environment starts at a young age; teaching students to respect their world is the key.
We seek bold yet purposeful projects that require an uncommonly devoted collection of teachers, parents, community members, and students.Every student needs the chance to learn where their food comes from and how it grows. Students who grow their own foods have a higher chance to try and eat more fruits and veggies. By using the Grow Light, children have a chance to learn where and how the food the eat grows they want to take ownership and cultivate more.
Teaching students to do this sustainably is the key.
By teaching students through hands on experiments it allows students to become fully emerged in their learning. It allows students to take ownership of their project and they see a greater outcome.

Intended impact of project

Improved occupant health & performance
Increased environmental & sustainability literacy
