Getting Dirty to Get Cleaner Eating Habits! Potting Soil, Please!

Help me give my students organic potting soil and water-conserving coconut coir to plant their vegetable garden as they learn, grow, harvest, and EAT more nutritious snacks in our environmentally focused outdoor learning environment.

The potting soil will allow my students to plant and care for a variety of vegetables, and the coconut coil material will help to retain the moisture in the soil as they learn about how to garden while also being good environmentals as they minimize the water needed in the Florida heat.

By planting, growing, harvesting, and eating their own vegetables my kids will grow in their scientific knowledge of plants, and grow in their own healthier bodies. And I guarantee even the fussiest of kids will eat a vegetable if they were the one who grew it!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

The soil you provided for our outdoor learning environment allowed my students to grow, maintain, harvest, and eat vegetables that they grew themselves!

We're still learning about insects - who ate more than we did this year - but we did get some successful crops - we all love carrots!
